I was rambling along the river bank with my puppy when I heard singing. Where was it coming from? There was something fishy going on. And then I saw it, a Carp Khoir practicing its scales!
They paused, blew a few bubbles, wiggled their tails then started to sing Finlandia. It was magnifishent!
On the drive home, I began to wonder if I’d imagined the whole thing. Then I heard singing from behind me. Believe it or not, my puppy was singing!
There was only one thing for it, I had to sing too!
I felt prod in my ribs. “Oy”, said my wife, “stop making that noise, you woke me up. Now let me get back to sleep”.

Thanks to Sadje for hosting What Do You See? – and that’s the first thing I saw when the pictures appeared!

You’re right; it is magnifishent! Very clever, dear Keith!
Thanks, Nancy!
Aha, what fun… fishies!! (or not)
Thanks Chris!
Singing in your sleep again Keith 🎶not very harmonious 😄- great take on the images
Sorry. Ange, I didn’t realise it was that loud!
Haha!
Just what I hoped for, thanks, Di!
To sleep: perchance to dream, ay, there’s the rub.
Perfectly put!
Let’s hope sleep singing isn’t really a thing, at least for those of us who can’t carry a tune in a bucket.
I agree, perish the thought!
Delightful! Trust me I was singing as I read this 😀
I’m pleased to hear it – even though I couldn’t! Thanks so much.
Ha ha. I rather not 😀
luckily (for the world) that sleep singing is probably not a thing that i do, as far as i know )
