Over the past few weeks I’ve been taking a few pictures while walking along the promenade.
It comes in two very different parts, traditional to the east, and modern to the west
This week we’ll stroll eastwards, and next week, in ‘tother direction!
Some people have back gardens looking out to sea…
…there are front ones too!
I think it’s about ten to four!
We’ve made to the end. I’ll save the country park for another day!

Love all the boats and the sailing club. We used to chase the tides to get under bridges without having to have them opened. Fond memory.
Loved all the wild flowers. My favorite.

What a spectacularly fun, beautiful, happening and socially active community in which you live! Have you always lived in/near Bexhill?
It’s wonderful! I was brought up close to Bexhill and travelled here daily to school. After that, I lived all over the place – London, Winchester, and even Northern France. I moved back here 20 years ago after handing over the keys to my precious pub!
