I have read so much about this subject I can put an instance to almost every one of these photos. Never forget- especially when it feels like so many others already have!

appropriate to a ‘Wordless’ post… as any one would, at least on first viewing’ find words to contain the horror.

It takes one’s breath away. It must have been hard to even take the pictures but I do thank you. We can read about it, we can see some images but I imagine nothing prepares you to walk amongst all those ghosts.

I would love to see this in person. Such a horrible time in history. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂

May we never forget, though our hearts ache with the weight of remembering.

    So barbaric. Powerful post.

Such cruelty… and yet history keeps repeating itself. It’s heartbreaking how little we seem to learn.

Amazing photos of such a terrible place in the history of mankind. People are still so very cruel to others on a smaller scale but it would be nice if people would accept people as they are and if you don’t like it, find other people. Such a terrible time in history it was, we can’t really even imagine what it would have been like. Thanks for sharing.

Thank-you. It is important that we never forget, although it is happening all over the world and history repeats itself.

Yes, the photos are very disturbing but need to be seen. You would think lessons would have been learnt from those horrific times, but no, wars and warmongers continue on regardless.
I have seen photos etc before, but these photos knowing you were there taking them has had much more of an impact.

The intensity is overwhelming, even in just photos. I can’t imagine how it would have been to visit in person.
Thank you for sharing your photos and experience there.

This is such a sad place

    These photos carry immense weight.
Such stark reminders of both human suffering and resilience.
Through your lens, Auschwitz’s pain and horror feel hauntingly present.

Sobering and haunting. Keith, I cannot imagine the energy emanating from that place. We must be ever-vigilant against allowing a repeat of the evil. Thank you for sharing the images. Very tough to look through them. How everything is preserved, as if the owners of those items just stepped out for a moment.
