For Wordless Wednesday and bloghops various!
.
.
Most of the shops in our town are independently run. They are a competitive bunch, never moreso than during the run up to Christmas when they compete to see who can come up with the best window display. Here are some of my favourites from this year’s lot!
.
Click pics once or twice to take a closer look!

Very interesting decoration ideas.
It’s amazing how they come up with such original ideas every year!
Very right. People who work in this field are very innovative.
I guess there is no going back now!
Too right!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Beautiful displays of a most wonderful time of year.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
It sure is! Thank you, Sandee!
I love window shopping at this time of the year. And boy oh boy… lots to see here!
Almost too much – spoilt for choice!
Seriously!
fiercely festive it seems , Keith…
You are so right!
Beautiful photos, Keith. I love all the festive cheer in the stores and their windows. Love those three peach- pink trees with lights…super cool. I never seen a tree that color.
Thanks Suzette, pretty aren’t they?
Yes, outstanding! Thanks again Keith.
What an amazing stroll through your town, Keith! 💖 All of the shopkeepers have embraced the holiday spirit beautifully, with their imaginative creations. 🎄Also nice to see messages about helping the homeless, a serious problem everywhere.
They certainly have, just as they do year after year! Helping the homeless is something our town takes very seriously.
very festive and fun
Oh yes! Thanks, Yvette.
🙂
I’d want to stop at every store! What a delight these are.
I’m sure they’ll love you too!
So festive! How wonderful!
It is! Thanks, Lydia.
The window displays are absolutely charming! 🎄✨
I love how independent shops put so much heart into their decorations .
You can really feel the creativity and friendly competition.
Your town must look magical this time of year!
It’s looking extra special this year, any day now we’ll find out which display has won the first prize!
I love all of these, they are so creative and festive!
Thanks Beth, they certainly are!
Impressive effort from all the local businesses! I enjoyed seeing your favorites.
Thanks, Shiju, I could have added more but I thought that was enough!
All the adorable little shops in towns are so fun to see. Here we have the big malls and huge stores, no more charming windows to look at. You have to find a small town to see anything close to what you have photographed.
We have some big shops but they are located on a retail park out of town – thank goodness
Beautiful series of ‘Window Shopping’ photos ~ Wow! Thanks, Keith ~

My pleasure! Thanks, Carol.
Some great holiday windows!
I particularly liked the ones with the skulls 💀
Happy WW!
It’s certainly a bit different!
Such wonderful scenes – each one more colorful and more cheerful than the last! That’s exactly how Advent should be!
Happy WW!
Indeed, thanks so much, Carmen!
Window displays are fabulous in deed
They are a delight to see! Thank you.
Magic in each town. Lovely Christmas time… thank you for sharing at MosaicMonday ☃️🌟❤️🎅🎄
iMy pleasure, t’s a magical time of the year!
All lovely displays. I try to support the small shops too. The skeleton Father Christmas gave me a smile. I hope he gets more snacks left out for him this year.

Use them or lose them we say.
He does look a bit hungry!
