Right in the centre of Copenhagen is Tivoli Gardens, which dates back to 1843. It has something for everyone, even me! As well as 30 rides, there are beautiful gardens, exotic buildings and over 30 eateries. Walt Disney came up with the idea for Disney World after visiting here. Ready? Off we go!.

If you didn’t know which came first you might think that they copied Disney! So many similarities! What about the cost to get in? Is it as expensive as Disney? Looks like a great day!

It’s quite expensive to enter but it doesn’t stop there – you have to pay an additional charge for each ride!
Wow, sounds like a typical money pit! Last year I brought my daughter to Bush Gardens in Tampa, just for fun for the day. It cost about $85 each to get in, $30 to park, then $50 each to go on the safari ride. I’m glad we did it because I love giraffes and they come right up to you in the truck but that and then food…I mean who wants to go out and spend close to $500 for a day at the zoo?
Oh my, it wasn’t anything like as expensive as that! I bet it was a day to remember though.

I missed it by a week – I’ve always wanted to go there, ever since I heard about it as a child. We missed it cos of the marathon timing (so had to be in Denmark earlier.) It was so disappointing. I loved your pics. It looks like everything I imagined as I stood at the fence trying to see what I could see – a lot was under covers.
Oh no, such a shame. I almost feel guilty for reminding you!

The photos are beautiful, and the colour is lovely. We have been to Copenhagen several times and the ship docks looking out at Tivoli. We were fascinated by that last ride, not to go on ourselves I hasten to add. We decided on one trip to take a look around in there, and found the gardens very beautiful.
