Copenhagen is criss-crossed with canals, home to many boats. That’s my hotel in the first picture, by the way, 71Nyhavn!

It’s a beautiful city, I have been there just before the Corona virus locked us in ! I just was a bit disappointed about the mermaid, she was so small, I had to look twice ! Bicycles I am used to, my son lives in Amsterdam and there it is awful !
love all the boats and colors
It was a sight to behold!
;0)
So colorful and beautiful 😍 Thanks for always taking me abroad.
My pleasure – any time!
Fabulous pictures Keith! Reminds me of Amsterdam. Thanks for sharing.
There are similarities – especially the bicycles!
and the Canal Bus!
Splendid! I’ve said this before, dear Keith, but it bears repeating: for those of us who cannot or choose not to travel, thank you for these phenomenal photos. I feel like I’m right there in the midst of the action, eating, drinking, seeing the sights and having the time of my life! Cheers! 🍻
I couldn’t have wished for a nicer response, thank you, Nancy.
Thanks sharing your trip through these beautiful pictures Keith
My pleasure, Sadje.

Such a beautiful city
Indeed, it exceeded my expectations!
Thanks for this wonderful tour of Copenhagen! Your photos are dazzling. 🤩 I was there once, back in 1967 and only remember The Little Mermaid, coloured houses and Tivoli Gardens, so this was a real treat, Keith. 😀 Looking forward to the next post!
Thank you. Nice to transport you back again, Debbie!
Copenhagen in one of Mom’s favorite places in the entire world and the people are wonderful too. She first was there as a kid and since then has been there too many times to count and of course, Tivoli is a place one has to see as well as the famous mermaid. Now she has a mind full of memories sparked by your post.
I’m not surprised it’s so special to her, it’s amazing. Next week she can revisit Tivoli!
Lovely collection! The canals, churches, and colorful shots really bring Copenhagen alive. That crispy pork looks delicious too.
Thanks so much, Shiju – there were no lesss than 7 pieces of that pork, I didn’t manage all of them!
Thanks for the tour of Copenhagen. It looks like a wondeful city.
It reminds me a bit of Amsterdam with the canals and the style of connected buildings.
Me too! Canals, buildings and bicycles too!
Wowza! Wonderful pics, I LOVE all the color! Glad you had a good time, Keith!
It was a riot of colour, and next week it gets more colourful still!
Oh good, we love Color (or colour)!!
Such a stunning city and canal scenes
It was an incredible experience!
Love all the amazing colors! But I also enjoyed the mermaid perched on the rock. Thank you for the tour.
Thanks for joining me Crow. The Little Mermaid was sculpted in honour of Hans Christian Anderson who wrote the fairy tail that goes by the same name.
Your photos make me want to book a flight.

Go on, do it! You won’t be disappointed!
Hi Keith – great review of things Copenhagen … I love the church with the spiral staircase tower, well the food I’d happily eat whenever, and those sculptures … even Churchill … strange, but true – cheers from a memorable time – thanks for showing us – Hilary
