Nervous Nellie they called her. She worried about this, fretted over that. She hated staying in but dreaded going out.
They suggested she see a psychiatrist, but there was enough going on in her mind already, the thought of someone else climbing inside was unbearable!
She needed a hobby, something to distract her whenever she felt stressed. She took up painting and playing the guitar but it didn’t help.
She tried macrame, but became more high-strung than ever.
Everything changed when she met Cocksure Colin! Nellie became more confident and Colin less swaggering. They tied the knot and moved to Middleground!

Thanks Rochelle, it was a knotty challenge!
I enjoyed how you brought the couple together. I wonder if some baby clothes will be knitted soon.
I’d like to think so!
middleground sounds like the right colorful place for these two
Exactly what I thought!

The perfect kind of love story. Very well written too – “She hated staying in but dreaded going out.” This is so me! Loved the font/artwork of your title (and the title as well).
Middle ground is okay. It’s less stressful. Nice one, Keith!
LOL
Sounds like the perfect pairing!
