I once met a beautiful Dutch girl . Lieka, she was called. With a name like that how could I not like her?
She was very kissable. Two Lips from Amsterdam I called her! Mind you, I had to stand on tippie-toes to give her a peck, Dutch people tend to be very tall!
She suffered from hay fever which was unfortunate for someone from the land of flowers.
Things went wrong for us when I stupidly bought her a boeket – that’s Dutch for a bouquet which is French for a nosegay which is old English for a bunch of flowers. Her nose was anything but gay when I held then beneath her chin, she’d have won the Sneezing Olympics if such an event existed!
On reflection that was a silly thing to do. Our blossoming romance withered and died.
I once met a beautiful French girl. Fancine, she was called With a name like that, how could I not have fancied her?

Thanks to Sadje for hosting What Do You See?

I went with the two lips too in my response. 😉 How could followers not fancy your blog?
