Well, I’ve finally done it! I’ve worked my way through the 357 pictures I took at the five day music festival known as the Marillion Weekend held at Center Parc in Port Zelande, the Netherlands!
It has to be said the majority of the snaps were pretty awful having been taken on an aging mobile phone from a raised area at the rear of the enormous tent-type arena! However, I’ll kick off with a few of the support acts I watched close up from the side of the stage in a kind of tin barn known as the Adventure Factory!

There was a Karaoke night too!

Now for ones I took in the tent starting with a support act. The quality is pretty dodgy, but they are quite colourful and I hope they at least convey part of the atmosphere I experienced at this amazing event!

Here’s a video of one of their most popular numbers, Sugar Mice. Everyone in the tent except me seemed to know the lyics and joined in!

That’s it folks! Next week I’ll show some photos I took out and about in the local area.

The stage looks amazing
Thanks, Sadje, it was constantly changing!
Awesome 👏🏼
Wow!
That’s what I said, over and over again!
I love band photos. Great times!
Me too! Thanks, Lydia.
Great shots and I’m glad you had a great time. You made me laugh out loud that you were the only one that didn’t sing along because you didn’t know the words. That would be me.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
That’s good to know! Thanks, Sandee.
Thanks for sharing your epic adventures with those of us who no longer wish to travel! You have no idea how much I enjoy your journeys and your magical photos. Mille grazie, caro Keith! 🥰
That’s good to hear! Thank you so much, Nancy.
It looks amazing! Even if the photos didn’t come out as well as you had hoped, the lighting and colours give a very good idea of what it was like there.

I’m pleased it came across, thanks so much.
Fabulous photos, Keith. The light shows on the stage are beautiful. I can well imagine the vibes, the atmosphere, and the music. Wow.
Thank you. I enjoyed your photos…they are great!
P.S.
I do not know the words to that song either.
I’m really pleased you enjoyed them, Suzette!
Great guitar play in the garage
It sure was!
You can bitch all you want, we all enjoy these pics! Makes me want to share my Led Zeppelin Symphonic where I do not doubt you WOULD have sung along 😉
Fun, Fun, Fun, you ole rocker!
…all together now! Keep on rockin’!
You betcha!
What a grand time!
Indeed it was!
You have captured the festival vibe beautifully!
Thanks so much!
Impressive, Keith! We can see clear as day the story those pictures tell! The energy must have been fabulous.
Thanks, Denise, the atmosphere was simply amazing!
Fabulous photos of the concert! The stage lighting looked very dramatic and fun. I enjoyed listening to the song at the end of your post.
I’m so pleased, thank you!
Stunning photos, Keith! The stage lights look mesmerizing. I can almost feel the energy, the atmosphere, and the rhythm of the music just from these shots.
Thank you so much!
Hi Keith – great look of the stage and shows … well done. I too didn’t and don’t know the words! Looks like you were immersed in the whole thing … great fun to see – cheers Hilary
It was impossible not to be! Thanks, Hilary.
That is quite the event. Mom isn’t into crowds so it would not be for her, but amazing for those who love music and don’t mind all the people there. Glad you had a wonderful time.
I certainly did! Thanks so much.
Cool! I enjoyed the photos, and the video. It sounds like a great time.
Thanks, Shiju, it was incredible!
love the pics!
I’m pleased! Thanks, Beth.
The music festival looks like a lot of fun. And I particularly like the photos with the lights forming geometric shapes (probably comes as no surprise).
Coincidentally, I am going to playing a (much smaller) music festival in a week and a half.
No, I’m not surprised! Have a great time at the festival.
What a cool music festival. Very nice. I know that there was a lot of cool music being played. Love all of your pics.
Thank you. It was amazing, three sessions a day!
Music is always a good answer for the world.
Interesting to see, I enjoyed this Post.
Indeed it is! Thanks so much.
