Mom traveled the world as a flight attendant for many years and went to markets like this a lot. She liked to look at them and see the bright colored foods/fruits/veggies, but she never would eat anything from the markets. It is a whole different culture and she was afraid she might get sick from the water that washed things, and the areas were fairly dirty but she loved to walk through the markets.
