He lives a few doors from me. Noah’s an archaeologist. Often, after heavy rainfall, the road outside his house floods. Not surprising really, given his name! He complained to the council about it, but he said they didn’t give a damn.
Apparently, there’s another archaeologist in the village. Nora is her name.
‘Do you know her, Noah?’ I asked.
‘No I don’t’, he replied, ‘I’ve not met Nora.’
‘Nor have I’, I said.
Noah has two cats, and I’m told Nora has two dogs. Similar names, similar jobs, floods, two-by-two pets. Surely that’s enough to float their boat!

Well Kieth, where did you dig that tale up. I agree that Noah and Nora have similar professions and maybe suited to each other’s company. However, the combination of cats and dogs may be problematic and is the reason they have not previously made a go of it. Just saying.

There’s a village in the UK called Giggleswick. We saw a sign for it on a bus tour!
