The weather was beautiful last Saturday, so I thought I’d seek out some things to photograph in the park before Autumn shoves Summer aside!

HERE’S LINKY!

Great photos Keith! I love the giant (looking) swan and bee you captured.
Lots of activity in the park and the construction of the garden in the promenade. Your autumn is slow in coming what a bonus to have flowering plants and lush trees. Lovely!
Thanks, Suzette, Autumn’s hiding in the bushes!
Most excellent. It is not hiding in my neck of woods…LOL!
Summer is like… “Hold my beer! I’m not done, yet!” Gorgeous photos, Keith. Love that covered path 😉
Perfectly put – in fact I held a beer in the pub over road when I’d finished! There are lots of those little covered paths, several interlocking, children love running through them!
There ya go!
And they are lovely! Like a maze, almost 🙂
Exactly!
❤️
Thanks, Beth!
Beautiful shots. We’re in triple digit weather again. 100+ degrees today and tomorrow. I’m so ready for fall.
I would love to take a walk here and bird and people watch. Then I’ll go have lunch. I will need a pint though.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
Wow, that’s baking hot! There’s a pub opposite the park’s main gate that does great food and beer, The Ruddy Duck – see you there!
Hubby and I would meet you there if we could. We’d have a great time. 🙂
Thank you for a delightful walk, I can hardly wait for more.
Thanks, Mimi, there’ll be plenty more, I promise!
Summer’s last gasp! Fab photos, Keith …. so bright and happy!
Yep! The following day couldn’t have more different, and not in a nice way!
Good thing you went when you did!
Amazing captures. Beautiful colours.
Thanks so much, Kritika.
My pleasure 🙂
Beautifully captured Keith.
I’m pleased you like them, Sadje, thank you!
You’re welcome ☺️
Fab photos Keith autumn is definitely here now I don’t think I have seen so much rain in a short time those photos bring nice fresh air just looking through them 🙂
Have an autumnictastic week 👍
That day was definately a one-off, Steve! Normal service has been resumed!
The photos are lovely. Makes me realise how much I have missed summer this year. Like a lot of places it has been wet and cold through spring and into summer. We did get a very few warm days though which I took advantage of to try and build up my vitamin D. I love the photo of the bumble bee.

Summer didn’t behave itself here either! I was pleased the bee stood still long enough for me to get a picture!
We love seeing fall slowly take over all the plants and things. A beautiful warm day draws everyone out to play, and then the cooler ones give that fall feeling. It is a fun time of year.
I couldn’t agree more, it really is.!
Such beautiful photos. That park looks super amazing for photos. Very nice. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Thanks so much! It is, it’s just a few steps away and go there most days.
Fabulous photos! Love the swan close up, especially. 🙂 You live in a beautiful area and it’s nice to see summer hanging around a bit longer. It’s the same here in southern Ontario, Canada. Thank you for providing a link up and happy Wednesday!
Thanks Debbie, I love living here! Another sunny day today – long may it last!
Looks like a lovely day in the park. I especially like the gardens and river!
We’ve been having exceptionally nice, summery weather here, too.
It was a lovely day – it was another lovely day in there today too!
Love the photos, Keith! The park looks so lively with all the activity.
Lovely photos, Keith.
Wonderful day at park!
Awesome photos, Keith!
I especially love the swan and bee you snapped.
Thanks so much!
