Following on from last week’s Snow Boats, here are some snowy pictures I took back in 2012! Again, the quality isn’t particularly good, but I thought they were worth reposting.

I took these in the park…

When quality is lacking
And all is nerve-racking
Make a nice frame for backing
And no one your skill will be tracking

The snaps were poor
’twas such a shame.
Then I thought
I’ll add a frame!

What do you mean the photos are not particularly good? They are wonderful! I love the second one, the snowwoman and all the ones by the beach. OK. Forget I said that. I love them all! Lovely poem, too.

Thanks, Dale. I so liked the snowwoman that I asked if she’d like to share an iced coffee with me, but she gave me the cold shoulder!

I really love the high key look, and there is nothing like beaches and ocean with the snow.

I’ve lived around here most of my life and seeing snow on the beach is a very rare occurrence, a beautiful one though!

I have never seen a snowwoman and I grew up in NE Ohio where there is plenty of snowmen most winters.

The beach in snow is gorgeous – esp the one on the balcony. We really don’t get that here! Fab work!

Hi Keith – ah ha … 11/12 years ago … we do get snow down here on occasions – I had a flake or two last week – thankfully that was it! Fun shots you’ve taken … cheers Hilary

Winter always looks so much colder along the water. Love the snowmen. Our winter is so sad this year. We are known for cold and snow and we have barely had any snow or cold this season. It is quite depressing.

It looks beautiful. We very rarely get snow like that, if any just a slight whiteness. That suits me though. It is much better to see other people’s photos.
