I had a strange dream. I dreamt I was a dentist, aka a gnasher basher! My surgery had a sign over the door that read Keef’s Teef. I seemed quite at home, clearly I knew drill!

Diana was sitting in my chair. She’s the gobby girl that gets on my nerves. This was going to be fun!

‘Open wide’ I said, and she did, very wide. In fact, her mouth got wider and wider then suddenly I saw Diana turn into a dinosaur! Holy molars, I’d have needed a jackhammer to make holes in those teeth! 

When she started licking me with her enormous tongue I instantly woke up!

“You dropped off for a moment or two Keith” said my dentist.

“Gig I?” I asked (it’s not easy trying to talk when they’re poking around inside your mouth!)  “Gorry agowt gat”.

Just then the receptionist poked her head around the door.

“Your next patient’s waiting Rex, Tyrone. Oh, and Diana’s at four”.

I’m going to be looking for a new dentist!

    An amusing start to my day thanks Keith. Have the right dental practice name.
    Did you know the toothbrush was invented in the back waters of southern USA?
    Anywhere else they would have called it a teethbrush 😁

      I didn’t know that! A good point about singular v plural. You’d need a set of 32 toothbrushes!

      You reckon? I’m so clumsy that I break enamel crockery, goodness knows what damage I’d cause to teeth!

    Love this, so funny with the great names and puns throughout. Imagine leaving the dentist’s room to see a T-rex waiting in reception for a tooth extraction! Brilliant, well done!

      My actua dentist has a tank of goldfish in the waiting room to keep people calm. What if they were to turn into sharks?
