Last week I showed you some pictures of monks in Cambodia. Today I thought I’d post photos of where I took them, Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.

Oh wow! What an amazing place. The tree roots are just unbelievable.
I thought they looked quite creepy!
I’ve seen a photo of this temple before and it looked unreal.
You visit the most amazing places. Sadje already used “amazing”. Another word I could not find.
Thanks for sharing!
It’s incredible. The movie ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ was filmed there.
I agrree amazing not seen anything like it thanks for sharing Keith 🙂
Have an interestingtastic week 👍
My pleasure Steve, thank you.
More marvelous photos, Keith. Brilliant shots!
Thanks, Nancy, pictures come easy in a place like that!
Wow
My reaction too when I visited there!
The architecture never ceases to amaze me.
Nor me. What a contrast to today’s characterless constructions.
So try Keith. They incorporated art to their architecture back then
Wow – very cool!
It’s an incredible place.
These places are fascinating!
A surprise around evert corner!
I agree with the other comments but the pictures are also sorta scary to me.
Me too, Patricia!
I really loved Siem Reap, not just for the temples. I wrote a piece on it that got translated into German. Such great people and good community. Wonderful pics!
I had a wonderful time travelling around Cambodia, and Siem Reap was really special.
I would love to see this in person. Wow, just wow.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
You’d be fascinated by it, I know. Thanks, Sandee.
Such an amazing place to visit, and those tree roots are incredible.
They sure are!
The building itself is rather creepy and dirty looking, we would not want to go in there, but those tree roots are amazing! We’ve never seen anything like it!
I wouldn’t want to either! It’s certainly different.
Wow. So very beautiful. Love the pics. Those tree roots are something else.
Thanks so much. I’ve never seen anything like them.
Wow!! Incredible shots, Keith. I simply love how the trees have become part of the structures <3
Thanks, Sunra. It’s as if they are supporting each other.
Angkor Wat and the whole Angkor Thom city are such amazing places. I’ve never been, so thank you for letting me see them vicariously through your photos.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience I’ll never forget. Thanks so much.
awesome!
Thank,s Klara.
Hi Keith – must have been an amazing visit. Another friend visited recently and gave a report on their visit … an area of the world I know almost nothing about. I really should at some stage learn more … cheers Hilary
It was a wonderful experience, in fact, my whole tour of Cambodia was amazing
