For Wordless Wednesday and bloghops various!
I’ve not been snapping lately, so I thought I’d re-use some photos I took of Bhuddist monks at Angkor Wat, Cambodia. I last posted them at Wordless Wednesday back in 2015.

I love these- a perspective we don’t often get
Once seen, and never forgotten.
Great shots, Keith!!

Thanks so much, David.
Lovely shots, Keith. The bright orange and red of the monks robes against the background provides a shocking irony. I’ve always wondered why monks wear such brightly-colored garments; today I will seek out the answer!
If you find out, I’d love to know! All young men have to spend some time as monks, it’s a kind of national service.
Unique photos! Thank you for posting them, Keith. I thoroughly enjoyed them!
I thought they deserved another outing!
I agree!! Thank you.
Excellent shots. Love to he contrast of colors. Somber grey and vivid orange
Thanks, Sadje. That’s what caught my eye.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
It was a sight to behold. Thanks, Sandee.
Great photos! I am trying to imagine the experience, both as an outsider seeing this scene and as a monk where this just is part of daily existence.
Thanks for your interesting comment.
What nice shots interesting too 🙂
Have a tanfastictastic week 👍
Thanks, Stevie!

What a fascinating place!
It certainly is, Mimi.
Hi Keith – you’re so well travelled … it must have been an amazing place to visit and see more of the historical detail in actuality. Incredible photos … Cheers Hilary
It’s up there with my all time favourite places! Thanks, Hilary.
Mom saw monks in Thailand and thought they were quite interesting. They lead a very different life from the rest of the people.
Indeed they do.
