For Rochelle’s Friday Fictioneers (on a Wednesday!)

If I’d left two minutes earlier, I’d have caught that bus.
I’d have gone to the supermarket and bought some delicious wine, an upmarket microwave meal and a yummy exotic dessert!
Then I’d have caught the bus home again.
I’d have sat with my feet up and enjoyed a lap feast whilst watching the six-o-clock news.
Instead, I’m drinking tepid milk and eating a tasteless bowl of slop, and there’s an over-ripe banana to follow.
I’m watching the ten-o-clock news about someone who was running, tripped, fell in front of a bus and ended up in hospital.
Nurse? Bedpan, please!

Prod Froggie (gently) to see what others have written this week!

At least there is TV in the room, poor guy. One never knows how any day will turn out. I was thinking that just this morning in fact. Thank you Keith!

Aw, poor guy. I hope this isn’t a true story, Keith! If only is the path to so more misery. Maybe if he’d caught that bus the outcome would’ve been even worse. He’ll never know.

No, not true! But then again, you may have a point!

That was very unfortunate. Was it the first, second or third bus that ran you over? Since, they all arrive at almost the same time.

As they say, you wait for one and then three come at once! I’m not sure which one is was, but hopefully not all three!

Dear Keith,
To quote Chief Dan George, “Some days the magic works and some days it doesn’t?” Poor guy. Cute story though.
