My roommate was a bag of nerves. Worried about this, frightened of that. He even jumped when his phone pinged!
I heard somewhere that playing music was therapeutic, and suggested he got himself a guitar.
He yelped! Just the thought of Motörhead or Aerosmith scared him!
I told him not to fret. I meant an acoustic guitar, not a noisy electric one. When feeling highly strung, just strum a few soothing chords.
He got one. He plays it when I’m watching TV. He plays it when I’m trying to sleep. He’s always playing it. He drives me mad!
Now who’s highly strung?
