wow! but fun to watch from a short distance )
I did get a bit wet!
I love these photos I could watch that all day from a hotel window of course heheh!
Have a wavetastic week Keith 👍
Very wise Steve!
I actually love going to the seaside in this sort of weather
That’s the beauty of the sea, it takes so many forms from dramatic to peaceful.
Either way I find it calming, I wouldn’t like to be out at sea when it’s being dramatic though!
Lovely pics.
Thanks, Sadje, I admit I was happy to get back indoors!
I can imagine. 🥶
Excellent! I am a water person and would be very unhappy living in a land-locked location. These photos show the essence of the free spirit of water people everywhere. Wild and free! ♓️
Me too Nancy, I can’t imagine life without it close at hand. As you say, wild and free!
It’s freezing here too, and all fogged out. Stay warm and stay off the ocean for a while, Keith. Though I could sit all day gazing at the cold, crashing waves.
I’ve only ever been to your part of the world in the Summer, so I can’t imagine it being cold and foggy! The waves are wild again today, so I’m keeping clear!
Good idea.
Oh they are predicting a minus 4 in the coming days around here in North India. 🥶❄️☃️☕️
That IS cold!
Tell me about it! Brrrrr!
But the DH and I managed to get away to the kiddies boarding school for the weekend and it’s a bit nippy yet comfortably pleasant here.
But will be getting back to the freezing weather by Sunday night!❄️
How are the waves now?
Can’t wait to have a home by the sea some day. Universe are you listening ?🥹🌟✨🌊🐬🐳⚓️
Such power harnessed in those images, Keith! 💞
There certainly is Dawn!
Wild waves! I’ll stay ashore today.
Very wise, Christine!
Oh! Dramatic ocean images. Right, you are not ideal for close-up ocean encounters! Great photos, Keith.
That was quite close enough! There are a lot of pebbles in those waves too, and they can be quite painful when they fly through the air!
Sounds perilous! Stay safe.
HI Keith – great photos … and it’s a very high tide at the moment … it has certainly been rough, and windy – cheers Hilary
It’s unrelenting here too Hilary! Keep well clear!
Powerful force of nature!
It was certainly showing its strength then!
Wow! That’s a REALLY rough sea! Wouldn’t want to be on a boat, either!
Not to be recommended!
I would love to see this from a distance. Beautiful shots.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Keith. 🙂
It’s beautiful! The power of the sea is astounding.
It is, then another day it’s still as a mill pool.
Wow! Wonderful waves to watch…from a distance. Great pictures.
They are, and preferably with railings between you and the sea for safety’s sake!
Those are some powerful waves…glad you cautioned us to step back!
I thought I aught to!
Beautiful captures. There is nothing worse than getting wet in the cold winter, so we stood way back to have a peak 😉
You and quite a few others that day!
Such beautiful pics and waves. So very nice.
Thank you so much.
Wow those are gorgeous shots! The water looks so beautiful and raw and powerful like that.
Thank you. I think it looks quite majestic on days like that.
There was a time we lived in the Hague at the beach, but when it was weather like this the wind went through all the cracks in the old house we were living, so I am glad I can see this from the comfort of the computer:)
Thanks for braving the stormy weather for these captures! At the same time here, in my previous state California they have flashfloods and whole neighborhoods had to be evacuated in San Francisco (2 hours drive from where we lived).
Thanks so much, Emille. We’ve heard much on the news about the flashfloods and the devastation they’ve caused.
So unlikely for California, since there is often drought!
There has certainly been some rough weather lately, but impressive to watch.
There is an upside to angry weather!
You chose the right day to be there! Gorgeous!
They were literally taken at the end of my street and I walk along there most days, but avoid some!
Lucky you to be living there!
Lovely pics though! You got a seagull in flight as a bonus.
More by luck than judgement, I didn’t realise I’d caught it until I went through the pictures!
WOW! Love the dramatic images, Keith.
The waves are pretty wild!
