Hi Keith – I remember it well when I worked over there for a while … probably ‘prettier’ than the Great Green Greasy Limpopo … ?! Cheers Hilary
these are wonderful shots, could easily be postcards
Interesting subject. Lots of eye directing details
I like the photos, but they are less than appealing for sure.
Nice photos and can see it’s not in a good state oh dear 🙂
Have a Newhaventastic week 👍
Figures. Must be worst today. Great Pictures. Would be very painstakingly difficult to paint to get all the details. Thank you Keith for the reminder. Hope the weather is not too stormy where you are.
The “backside” of many places isn’t as well kept as the front.
Beautiful boats and then some that are no longer loved. Great shots.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. 🙂
When dirty is pretty :-)…

Everything has its own beauty. These photos are great.
Wabi sabi—the beauty of the imperfect.
I’m reading a book about a man who took a trip down the Mississippi a few years ago. I wonder if parts of the big river are dried out now.
That is so cool. What great photos there. Very nice.
I love scenes like this (as you might have gathered from my own WW offerings). Finding beauty in the places that others overlook is one of the joys of photography and exploring.
Al industrial areas have their “dirty” side but they still deserve to have their photos taken.
These are beautiful
Picturesque , great shots !!
