I don’t mean it to happen, it just does. About this time every year my dog teeth, or canines whatever they’re called, suddenly grow longer and sharper for a week or so. It can be a bit of a nuisance as I tend to keep cutting my bottom lip. Actually, my blood’s quite tasty. It’s like with beetroot, a homegrown one is far more delicious than one produced by someone else!
I also adopt a rather intrusive habit; creeping up behind people in crowded places and biting their necks in order to enjoy a little liquid refreshment! I don’t wish to blow my own trumpet (not that I could this week with those teeth getting in the way) but I’m quite good at inconspicuous neck nibbling, so much so, that most of my victims assume they’ve just been nipped by a gnat or something.
Did I just spit? I’m so sorry, it happens a lot with the lisp I acquire when these toothy pegs get in the way of my tongue. Th…th…th…th…
The upside of my temporary vampiric condition is that I save money by not having to buy red wine for a while! Having said that, I wouldn’t want to be a full-time bloodsucker. I’d miss my Merlot too much!
In closing, I just like to ask all of you to make sure your necks are clean and sanitised this week, I’d hate to catch covid when I’m out and about.
