For Sadje’s What Do You See? photo prompt.

I try, I really do. I’m a romantic at heart, a Cassanova wanna-be but I always seem to get it wrong.
Once I told a girl if I was an organ donor I’d give her my heart. She pulled a face and walked away. Why?
I got a similar reaction when I said ‘if being beautiful was a crime you’d get a life sentence’. What’s not romantic about that?
Then there was this Dutch girl. She had a beautiful smile. I puckered up and told her she was my Two Lips from Amsterdam. She said ‘tot ziens’ and wandered off. I’m not sure what it meant, but I don’t think it was a compliment.
Which reminds me, the other day I left a bunch of tulips on a girl’s doorstep. Surely, that should have been really enchanting. Unfortunately, when she left home she tripped over them ended up in hospital with a broken bone or two.
I popped in to visit her. ‘Let me be your band-aid’ I gushed, blowing kisses left right and centre. Security escorted me out.
I’ve just come up with a new chat-up line. ‘Did it hurt when you fell out of heaven?’ What do you think?
.

Interesting take on the prompt. Thanks for the chuckle about tripping.
The pleasure’s mine Denise!
Shudder..Looks like more than the narrator’s words hurt. I know it is farce..not finding you guilty of the same, Keith.
I’m pleased to hear that!!
Loved this! Having Aspergers, I always say the wrong thing or get confused under pressure – very frustrating because new friends think I’m either weird or just dumb. LOL Weird I can handle …. 😇
That must be a little awkward sometimes!
Lots of times! Most people just assume lack of intelligence … which may be true too! LOL
This really made me smile..☺☺☺very interesting and brilliant take
I’m pleased, thanks so much!
It seems your Casanova needs to find a few new pickup lines. Thanks Keith for joining in with this amusing story.
He certainly does, Sadje!

Enjoyed and laughed. Or maybe laughed and enjoyed.
Thanks a lot and lots of thanks!
Heeheehee! Fun story.
I’m pleased you liked it, Mimi!
🤣🤣
That’ll do nicely!
I enjoyed listening to this story. It is great with a touch of humour. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Amila.
Hahahaha! You’re really funny, Keith! Thanks for the laugh 🙂
Sincerely,
David
Once again, you made me smile, Keith. Thanks for brightening my morning!
(Totsiens = goodbye in Afrikaans too)
This was fun reading. The speaker’s actions and statements have been oft’ misunderstood by the recipients. Shows exactly how it feels to be misunderstood. Great response to the prompt.
You have such a way with words!
