for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Pavonine and the limit, 81 words..
.

.
Colourful as a Christmas tree, pavonine as a pantomime dame, radiant as a rainbow. Kaleidoscopically candescent, that’s Technicolour Trev!
He’s a painter. He bedaubs his canvases with splashes, strokes, squiggles and squirts; a complete mess but somehow they come alive and excite all that view them.
I went to his gallery once. It took me ages to find him, he was so well camouflaged!
We probably appreciate his art even more than he does. It’s such a shame he’s colour blind.

Nicely done Keith
Thanks, Sadje!
You’re welcome
Fab alliterations. His way of handling his color blindness works out so very well
50 shades of grey to him! Cheers, Larry.
Beautifully done! 🦚
Thanks so much, Paula.
I love that last punch line! 🙂
It was actually an afterthought and I had to do a bit of trimming to fit it in! Cheers Na’ama.
Here’s to punch of the yummy kind.
Fun story, you did this one very well, as usual.
Thanks so much, that’s kind of you, Mimi!
Nice..have a great weekend
And you, thanks so much!
A colourful take on the prompt. I especially love ‘pavonine like a pantomime dame’.
Thanks so much. As pantomimes are a somewhat British institution, I wondered if it would work with an international readership!
I’ve never seen one but I’ve learned from a friend that they are a tradition. They sound like great fun. 🙂
Hi Keith – fun prompt … and you’ve created a great post for Trev … cheers Hilary
PS just what we need on a foggy day like it is now …
A splash or two of colour is what we need right now! Cheers, Hilary.
Wonderfully composed and finely vocalized, Keith.
Much appreciated, Bill.
Fantastic use of the prompt word, Keith 😀
Thanks so much, Sunra.
