I saw an angel yesterday, don’t laugh, I did! Where? On top of the church tower. She was sitting there with her legs dangling down. Why are you grinning? I didn’t imagine her.
I was out running … what are you laughing at? I need to run now and again because it’s good for my knees and if you don’t take me seriously I’ll bend you over one and give you a good spanking! That’s better, thank you.
As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted … what was I saying?
Oh yes, this girl, no, this angel was smiling at me and … what do you mean ‘how do you know she was an angel?’ Because she had a label on her back saying made in heaven, duh. Of course she was a bloomin’ angel!
So I waved to her … what now? Yes, I had stopped at the pub … oh I give up.
.

Aww, no one believes that you saw an Angel. Thanks Keith for joining in with this lovely story.

That hallucination of yours does not look like this statue 🙂

I certainly wouldn’t have waved at that one!

I’m not quite sure I believe you either, Keith, but I love the idea, particularly the ‘Made in Heaven’ bit! 🙂

Surely you don’t think I made that up! Cheers, Chris.

This is a good bit fun, Keith. Nobody believes another when they see something unusual.
I love the way you read, you’d have done Terry Pratchett’s stories magnificently. Just like you do you own.

If she was made in heaven, of course she was an angel. Stand your ground!

I’m sure you did see an angel! Dark haired, blue eyed and I think the label said made in Haiti … not Heaven! 🤗
