A lot of wall paintings have appeared in my town lately. Each of these is a short walk from my door!.

…and finally, this is NOT a ‘working’ window, it’s a boarded up one. It’s completely flat yet appears three dimensional. Even the pretend kids pictures are part of the painting! Why? Don’t ask me!

This is lovely.
Thanks, Sadje!
You’re welcome
These are fabulous, so creative, and especially the last one, which had me convinced that it was a real window!
I’m surprised no one’s accidentally walked into it! Thanks, Christina.
That’s beautiful, Keith. I thought that the last one was a photograph of a window too
I had to feel it to make sure! Cheers, Shweta.
It must make your walks pleasant to see such artwork, i know i would enjoy a stroll there.
It does and there are many more further afield. Thanks, Mimi.
Some beautiful works of art there! And some not so. 😉
Absolutely so Christine! There were others I had no desire to snap at all!
These are brilliant and so clever I would love these around me 🙂
Have an artistictastic week 👍
They do brighten the place up! Cheers, Steve.
I kind of love the boarded up window. Someone was being cheeky with that one.
Just a bit!
Some beautiful work and then we come to the kids’ work. That last shot made me smile. Like the cherry on top of a sundae.
Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day, Keith. 🙂
Thanks so much, Sandee. Now I’m feeling hungry!
The last one had me completely fooled!! The first one is just lovely tho.
They couldn’t be more different! Thanks, Lydia.
Hi Keith – wonderful to see … especially for you as you walk around. Fascinating too … cheers Hilary
They are indeed, but there are always some people who complain about them.
Street art became popular here in one district of Honolulu about ten years ago also, and the passion hasn’t subsided yet. All your photos of wall paintings are interesting in color and topic. The children’s drawings add a nice controversial touch.
That’s interesting Gail. We couldn’t have imagined them a few years ago. As for the ‘children’s’ drawings, they do look uncannily real!
Some of those are just stunning, like the first one. We love finding good street art!
I do too. Things have certainly moved on from the second-rate graffiti we used to tolerate. Thanks for dropping by.
wow, they are really nice.
I like them! Cheers, Klara.
So lovely. Thank you for sharing. Have a beautiful and blessed day.

My pleasure, thank you, Regine.
You are fortunate to have these great murals in your neighborhood. Except for the last ones I can’t even call these grafitti. It does not like the UK, lol! Emille (Jesh)
I agree but I thought I’d add them if only to provide some contrast! I assure you, it is the UK!!!
Such really cool art there. Very nice.
I’m really pleased you liked them, thank you.
These are wonderful. You are fortunate to live near these. I love this kind of street art. ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
Thanks that was an amazing trip to see so much beauty!
Thank you so much.
They are lovely. I particularly like the first one. The depth really draws the eye into the wood.
It’s almost an illusion. Thanks so much Jackie
These are so creative and colorful. Lovely post!
I’m pleased you like them, thank you.
