for Wordless Wednesday and others!
Sissinghurst Castle Garden in the Weald of Kent in England, was created by Vita Sackville-West, poet and writer, and her husband Harold Nicolson, author and diplomat. It is among the most famous gardens in England and is designated Grade I on Historic England’s register of historic parks and gardens. The castle tower dating from the 16th century is virtually all that remains of the grand Manor House.

What a wonderful garden, Keith. And a magnificent building. I’d love to get through the railing into the library! Great photos.

Fascinating castle and gardens. I was particularly intrigued by the gate tower, it’s so “thin” – and then surrounded by lush vegetation.

It was originally part of a larger building, it certainly does look a little unusual now! Thanks for dropping by.

Thought I left a comment, because I loved this garden with all these flowers, seemingly planted plan. But I had a chaotic battle with a lost password that day. My excuse for the day:):) Emille (former: Jesh)
