Hi Keith … well done – I’ve kept back the haggis … as I got distracted with other veg around … so I’ll have it in February … and with a whole roast turnip … something slightly different. Looks good … I’m not a fan of whisky … just sad we can’t have a party for Burns Night … all the best – Hilary
I had a feeling that word would send people Googling for an explanation! Like you, I’ve picked up all sorts of bits and pieces from our fellow bloggers! Thanks so much Natasha.
I hope you did some for me heheh! hope you enjoyed it and had a good burns night 🙂
Have a tattietastic safe week 😷😷😷
Some interesting food there. Thanks for sharing it.
My pleasure!
Good for you, celebrating Burns Night!
An annual tradition at my place!
Glad you enjoyed it. We were lowland Scots, so I don’t think my ancestors ate haggis. I don’t find it on my bucket list anywhere, either. 😉
Add it, it’s fab! Cheers Christine.

A couple of years ago I spent a Burn’s Night in a Scottish pub, and that was special! Stay safe Hilary.
Now I am wanting haggis! Good choice with the whisky.
A splendid drop of scotch indeed!
It looks delicious.
It was yummy!
Looks so tasty! Enjoy! Thanks for sharing!
It was and I’ve got plenty left over!
Looks good. Not the whiskey though. Never acquired that taste. You can have mine.

An annual treat Kathe!
Tripe – it’s so long ago I heard it – have forgotten what it consists of…. Looked you had a great time here:) Jesh
I enjoyed myself even if I had be on my own!
I learned a new word: “Sassenach”
Assuming we lived in New Castle Upon Tyne (briefly) and I enjoy the English culture I would have thought I’d heard this term before.
I’m so grateful for the global blogging community. I learn something new each time. 🙂
Happy weekend, Keith. I hope you meet some people soon, as the vaccine shows signs of progress.
Love and Warn wishes always.
