I’ll be doing my best despite the lockdown baring us here from meeting people indoors! Happy New Year Mimi and thanks so much for your loyal support of my blog.
The captures of second capture and the sea of people and the Big Ben are my favorites. We used to do the same for July 4th in San Diego when living in Southern California. Great to be with a crowd to watch the fire works but stopped because it would take us more than an hour to just get out of there to go home, another hour and a half. Hope your Christmas was enjoyable and all the best for 2021. wishing that it may be an easier year for all of us! Jesh
It is really spectacular but like you, I question if the long journey to London and back is worth it – not that it’s happening tomorrow anyway! Happy New Year!
So wonderful! I would love to see an over the top fireworks display some future new year.
We live in a tiny village in the mountains in the middle of no where! If we are lucky and there is a clear sky on New Year’s Eve, our skies are lit up with the Quadrantid meteor shower. The booms come from pots and pans being banged by our neighbors.

Yes it looks like it just won’t happen this year and what a year on a lighter note I was born in St Thomas’s Hospital opposite 🙂

Beautiful photos. It will be a very quiet New Year for everyone this year, just the two of us the same as Christmas. Happy New Year, and hopes of a much better 2021.
