Thirty words …

for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Syzygy and the limit just 30 words which is a bit of a challenge for flash fiction writers such as I!

hhhh

‘Hello, Syzygy darlin’ slurred Bob.

‘You’ve been drinking’  said Suzie.

‘Oh no I haven’t’.

‘Oh yes you have’.

‘Look, three moons all in a row!’

‘Oh yes, you definitely have!’

gggggggggggggg

Syzygy : the straight-line configuration of three celestial bodies such as the sun, moon, and earth

Lol too funny. Great take. I’m sure you would sound drunk if you tired to utter that word for sure.

More of Keith’s squashing a challenging word, too much to drink or not. Well done.

True! There’s the etymology. That’s when the sun and the moon and the stars align.. :p

Well, it’s been a very long day and quite warm. I think I shall turn in and say goodnight to you my friend and now I can dream of walking down this lovely path with you in another part of the world. How extremely beautiful.
