for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Intrepid and the limit just 52 words.

Intrepid, me. Oh yes. Fearless, brave.
My mission? Rescuing those in peril. Making the world safer.
I don’t fly or wear gaudy lycra. There are no movies about me nor superhero dolls. An unsung hero, that’s me.
Yesterday I helped an old lady cross the road. What death-defying challenges confront me next?

.
Bravo! Er…Did she want to cross the street? You know that old joke. 😉
I do! That is the question! Cheers, Christine.
Hi Keith – no electric cars about either apparently … glad she got to the other side – where were you meant to be?! Stay safe … Hilary
Those silent electric cars are a menace, I almost got run by one in the Crumbles car park the other day!
Good one Keith. Love the graphics.
Thanks Sadje.
You’re welcome
Loved your take on the prompt!
Much appreciated Aaishi.
I am relieved about the gaudy lycra, Mr Knievel Jr.
I only wear it in private I promise, I’m not that evil!
We can all be heroes in our own everyday, ordinary way.
Indeed we can Mimi.
Dear Keith,
Perhaps you could carry someone’s groceries. In any event, you are an artist with the graphics.
Shalom,
Rochelle
What a good idea though unfortunately I’m a bit clumsy! Thanks Rochelle
Clever response. Loved it.
Thanks so much Bill.
If more would be that kind of intrepid, there’d be less need for heroes with capes.
Good stuff!
Na’ama
Very true Na’ama, thank you.
Glad you agree!
Superheroes are overrated. Unsung heroes are true and better.
Absolutely!
Real heroes are the ones doing these lovely little things. Don’t seem like much but mean lots!
Lookit you…
Quite so Dale! You like my new look then!!!
Indeed!
