Ah, i have lovely memories of crossing the channel, many years ago. One ferry had a kitchen fire while we were on it, high excitement, that.
I’m a regular ‘crosser’ and I’ve not experienced anything like that thank goodness!

I love to see the sea mist rolling in. We get it here. It comes into Plymouth Sound then rolls up the rivers Tamar and Tavy.
I believe there was a heavy mist on the North Cornwall coast for a good part of the day today. Maybe it discouraged some of the 100 mile day trippers!
It has its advantages!
I admmire your dedication to photography getting off the bus and walking back. I’ve never seen this pier in person but it looks very familiar and the mist makes it very atmospheric. BTW I had to ask, is this your Summer? Just asking.
I went for a very relaxing beach walk which took me over a rocky headland. I loved it. Even saw a wallaby hopping beside the road driving home. It was a first. So relaxing.

A wallaby is a small kangaroo. Some of them are quite small and they’re all gorgeous.
