for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is obsolete and the word limit just 24.
This month, I’m taking part in the A-Z Challenge and my daily theme is obsolete words. We get Sundays off, so I was really looking forward to not seeing that word today! Oh well…

Bin that, it’s obsolete.
Yuk, that’s mouldy.
Chuck them, out of date.
Dump this, it’s moth-eaten.
That’s useless.
Why are you pointing at me?

Well, do you get Antiques Roadshow in the UK? Why am I not one of those folks who found a real treasure in someone’s trash or yard sale? Or have I chucked out something worth thousands?
We do indeed and sometimes the trashiest items are worth the most money!
Wouldn’t that just make your day? 🙁
I often feel out of date but am still useful as cook and laundress. 😉
And very good at you are I’m sure!
You are not obsolete, you are a precious collectors item (i refuse to call you an antique).
Oh, you say the nicest things Mimi!
We are not obsolete, at least not yet. Good one.
…yet!
Yup!
You have quite the precocious mind…not obsolete at all! Looking forward to this weeks words!
Do you think so? Cheers Kathe.
Dear Keith,
I sometimes feel spent but never obsolete…not as long as I’m this side of the grass. Loved your two dozen words.
Shalom,
Rochelle
I can relate to that! Thanks Rochelle.
Nah…You are far from obsolete! You’re still super creative and vibrant! 😉
Oh, you say the nicest things Dale!
I tell it like it is, my friend!
