I just hope it doesn’t go out of business as a result of the shutdown. It’s served ale since the 1600’s. Fingers crossed.

Daffs bloomin? May be weeks before I see any flowers here. Lovely pic.

They are everywhere you look here right now – my balcony’s ablaze with them. I’ll pop a bunch in the post for you!

First off, such beautiful flowers! Spring-like yesterday here, but winter has just slapped us with more snow.
This current crisis will definitely ‘rearrange” the economy world from top to bottom! Even once people resumes their normal activities, currently-out-of-work folks won’t have money to rush out to wine & dine & spend as before. One can hope that older, established businesses will survive.

My friends have run this pub for 38 years but having just phoned them, they think this might spell the end of road for them. I’m glad I don’t still have my old pub any more.

The upside, Keith, is that it’s more beautiful outside than inside. Maybe you can set up a little five people, 6 feet apart watering hole.

Can’t seem to get a word in edgewise here, I think it’s WP, but will give it one more try.

Third times a charm, lol. I don’t think Safari likes the WP login cuz it wouldn’t let me comment. I was thinking if you set up a five person biergarten called “Six Feet Apart” you could knock back a few in the comfort of your own yard or driveway.

I’m a bit of a creature of habit and missing out on my weekly pint or seven has completely messed me up! Thanks so much Natasha.

Ha! Ha! I hear you. But aren’t you stocked up at home? Just realised last night our Gin stock has run dry.. Will have to make do with Pimms or Grey Goose. Lol! Or just abstain.

      • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings April 1, 2020 / 12:03

I actually have a fully stocked bar in my apartment so i don’t foresee a problem! What? No gin?

      • Natasha's avatar Natasha April 1, 2020 / 12:05

Yes no gin. Sigh! And it’s summers here already. Bummer. But I ain’t complaining. I’m not much of a drinker. But like the idea of it. Ha! Ha!

Those are beautiful daffodils. We don’t have them around here as it’s too hot too soon. I love to see them here.

This, too, will pass. My mantra.

    • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings April 1, 2020 / 16:56

They are lovely but too soon they disappear. Hopefully not just the daffodils.

  11. TravelerInMe's avatar TravelerInMe April 1, 2020 / 16:45

The daffodils make the landscape so cheerful.

Cheers Keith for happy days to come soon 🙂

It looks lovely and also familiar. I think we may have gone there for a meal after a trip to Battle when we were staying in the area a couple of years ago. Of course I could be totally wrong.

That sure looks like a beautiful place. I would love to visit for those yellow flowers and the rustic look.

Stepping inside is takes one back hundreds of years. Being a listed building, it’s virtually unchanged. The beer’s good too! Thanks Parul.

        maybe some day, Keith! 🙂

Stay safe and stay in. Thank you very much for joining our blog hop. Look forward to having you, again this week.

P.S. Those daffodils did bring a smile on my face. 🙂

Sounds like a great place! Hopefully, we can get back to some of our old ways soon! I didn’t know you had a WW!

Feel free to share at My Corner of the World

    • Keith's Ramblings's avatar Keith's Ramblings April 8, 2020 / 14:38

I’m an occasional WW-er Betty! I miss my local that’s for sure. Once the A-Z Challenge is over I’ll get back to posting more pictures.
