for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where we are challenged to write 44 words about Twilight.

Her eyes
a mist of grey
like twilight,
that sparkle, gone.
.
I ask why,
she hears me not.
I will wait
as long as it takes
for her return.
.
But for now
she’s in a place of her own.
.
Somewhere.
.
I know not where.

Poignant.
Thanks so much Sadje
A pleasure Keith.
Thank you Sadje

Shalom,
Rochelle

🙂
Oh how poignant and wistful and heart-touching (using all of the above in one)
Not my usual style which makes your lovely comment even more special.
So sad, whether due to age or other reasons, when the mind has left to wander and even love cannot follow.
Indeed it is. Thanks Mimi.
Hi Keith – so right with the recent weather … mists of time … delightful and sad 44 words … cheers Hilary
That’s most kind of you Hilary, thank you.
Oh my, I’m hushed…exquisitely beautiful, and yes, poignant.
That’s really nice of you, thanks so much.
You’re quite welcome, Sir.
Beautifully written. I especially like the eye. Did you draw it?
I didn’t, but I wish I had! Thanks so much.
