I should have posted a story yesterday but it was my birthday and Rosey’s too so I was otherwise engaged! Better late than never.

My phone rang. It was my friend Rosey, again!
‘I’ve got a ghost’ she panted.
‘You don’t need another pet’ I said, ‘you’ve already got two cats!’
‘It’s not funny,’ she whimpered.
‘Is it a friendly ghost?’ I asked.
‘No. It yanked the wire from its hole in my computer, and it stopped working’.
‘Plug it back in then’ I said.
‘You’re missing the point, I’ve… got… a… ghost!’
‘What’s it look like?’ I asked.
‘It’s invisible, duh’ she huffed. `Oh, hang on, the wire’s hooked around my chair leg, it may have pulled out when I did a bum-wiggle’.
‘So there’s no ghost?’
‘Probably not, bye’
Thanks to Rochelle for hosting and Dale Rogerson for the picture.
Prod the frog to join in the fun!

Poor Rosey! No sympathy from you.
And a belated Happy Birthday. Wishing you and Rosey many more years of funny tales together.
Thanks so much Christine. I doubt the fun will ever end!
Happy birthday for yesterday Keith. Hope Rosey cooked you a nice dinner.
She didn’t but that would have been fun! Thanks so much.
You’re welcome
That was fun to read. Happy Birthday, Keith – and Rosey. 🙂

Thank you very much Susan
I hope you had a very happy birthday.
I certainly did, thanks Denise.
happy birthday K
Thank you so much!
Nothing in a writer’s life can afford to be the obvious explanation. I’m with ghosts
Very true and me too! Thanks Neil.
Classic Rosey! Happy Birthday Keith, I trust it was suitably well celebrated.
Another day in the life of Rosey P! I had a wonderful time thank you Iain.
Happy Belated Birthday!
Thank you so much.
now, that’s a funny one. Sadly, I’ve done that… blamed the Hubby.
Tut tut! I bet he wasn’t impressed!
Happy birthday both, how easy it is to blame something else for mysterious goings on, I’ve a mate like that!
…never their fault! Don’t i know it. Cheers!
Cables often have a mind of there own, I enjoyed this story
I know mine do! Thanks Mike
Heeheehee! It’s a mistake any Rosey could make. Wishing you both many happy returns of the day!
Thankfully there’s only one Rosey! Thanks so much, Mimi
Dear Keith,
You and Rosey sound like the next George and Gracie. Love what you did with the frog this week. 😉
Shalom,
Rochelle
Hehe! I’d never have thought of that! Thanks Rochelle
I think Rosey is after your attention, best go round and sort out her wiring. Fun read.
When I’ve sorted out her wiring she’ll find something else for me to do, so no, I’m staying clear! Thanks, James.
Most ladies find the solution for themselves in the end… 🙂
So I’ve discovered! Thanks Sandra
Hppy birthday Rosie. Good thing she didn’t ring an expensive helpline.
Very true! Cheers
Love this, Keith, very funny (for you!)
I particularly like how the ghost wound the cable round the chair leg to confuse the issue.
In my experience ghosts are not to be trusted!
Rosey doing a bum-wiggle. What a thought! That’s a very entertaining little story, Keith. And Happy Birthday!
Thank you so much Penny
Gotta love Rosey. This is a cracker.
Pleased you liked it, thank you.
Happy Belated Birthday to both you and Rosey, Keith. This was funny. She has a really lively imagination. I like the phrase ” yanked the wire from its hole in my computer.” 😀 — Suzanne
Technical terms are not her thing! Thanks so much Linda
Happy Birthday from me, too for you and Rosey. She better be careful with the bum wiggle next time or the ghost comes back. Or the frog… another great puzzle piece in the frog-mosaic.
She better had indeed! Thanks from me, Rosey and the frog!
Fun read. Belated Happy Birthday!
Much appreciated, thanks.
So many possibilities. May be there was a ghost that wanted to undivided attention and yanked the computer wire out. May be the ghost was malicious and wanted to electrocute your friend. Finally, your friend has to stop bum wiggling. It can do uncalled for damage, who knows!
If bum wiggling was an Olympic sport….! Cheers Abhijit.
So cute, and happy double birthday!
Thanks so much!
You are welcome 🙂
Happy belated birthday, Keith, and to Rosey too! Love the bum wiggle and (probable) ghost story. =)
Thanks Brenda and I’m delightedighted you enjoyed it
As you know, I love Rosey. What a fun story. And a very happy birthday to you Keith…belated as it may be.
Happy birthday. Rosie should have been a smidge more patient.
