The photo tour of the colourful shops in Brighton is wonderful. I enjoyed it very much. My favourite is Guns Florist.
Visiting here from #WordlessWednesday hosted by Esha and Natasha.

Florists really should be colourful, and this one does it spectacularly! Thanks for popping by.

It looks so bright and colourful, makes you want to visit.
I haven’t been to Brighton for years, probably 20 or more.

It will have changed a lot since you last saw it! I’m only a short bus ride away so I’m there quite a lot and I love it!

Hmmm…interesting. My mom was in Brighton a lot in the early 90’s. She didn’t notice anything about bright colored shops, she remembers being on the water. It may just be what she was looking for, or she simply didn’t notice. It is a lovely little town, though.

It’s changed a lot since then, it’s even gained city status albeit a small one. The water is still there though along with it’s famous pier!

Those shops are brilliant. I’d love to spend the day looking at the graphics on the shop buildings.
It reminds me of a story that was in our reader when I was a primary school teacher. It was about a family who learned their house was in the way of a road coming through; their house would have to be torn down and they would have to move. The family decided to paint the outside with beautiful murals. It was bold and bright. Then the family learned the road would not be coming through. I was loved the exotic house and I was happy, but the family went out with a normal color house and painted the whole thing so it was drab again!

What a great story, just a shame it went full circle. As for those shops, I’ve only shown you a handful – there are streets of them! Thanks so much for your interesting comment.

Keith,
I love colors and maybe I’m being a fuddy-duddy but these colors seem to be a slight overkill. Perhaps, it’s just too much all at once and is too much for my brain to process. Yeah, that’s it – the ole CPU is slow to upload properly. lol Thanks for sharing such gloriously bright photos!

It is a bit mind -blowing! Every single shop in that area is a blaze of colour – not a plain one in sight! But that’s Brighton for you!

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say that you’ve done a very good job with this. In addition, the blog loads very quick for me on Opera. Exceptional Blog!
