She’s always been one for messing around but the other day she took monkey business to another level!
The doorbell ding-donged, so I stopped what I was doing, muttered something unprintable and stomped down the hallway.
Words cannot describe the shock I experienced when I opened the door only to o find an orangutan standing on my step clutching in it’s arms a tangerinutan or whatever little ones are called. My mouth was agape (pardon the pun!)
To cut a long story a little shorter (I’m sure you’ve got better things to do) it was my naughty daughter with her toddler playing the latest in her lifetime of performing pranks.
That’s not the end of it though, more like the begining because several people spotted her heading down the street and a one bloke even videoed her.
Imagine my surprise when the video went viral! Imagine my bigger surprise when I switched on the TV news the next morning and saw it playing out there!
Apparently everyone was worried it had broken free from the zoo. We are still recovering from when a meerkat escaped and scared us all by peering at us through our windows!
Anyway, the zookeeper did a stock check and assured us there were no orangutans or similar looking creatures absent without leave.
Oh no, my doorbell’s ringing, what now?
