for Rochelle’s Friday Fictioneers photo prompt.

My girlfriend left me. I was devastated. The following day I passed a book-swap booth. Perhaps reading story would help occupy my mind. The first book I saw was ‘All is not Lost’. After reading it I felt quite optimistic!
I went back for another. It was called ‘In The Park’. I liked it! I swapped it for one called ‘Friday Night’. I was feeling greatl! My next read was titled ‘Seven O’clock’.
Were they telling me something?
On Friday at seven I went to the park. On a bench sat my ex.
I don’t know who was more disappointed.

I’m pleased you thought so, though I doubt they’d agree!

Perhaps it is meant that they should get back together, only the next book he finds will decide that.

Okay, this is hilarious! I think they’ll end up back together eventually… They may not have a choice, hehe.

You’ve reminded me of a country music song, “All My Exes Live in Texas, That’s Why I Live in Tennessee.” One of them needs to move so it doesn’t happen again.
