… for Rochelle’s Friday Fictioneers photo prompt.
.

.
‘
Wednesday, I watch television, all day.
Thursday, I watch television and write my shopping list.
Friday, I visit the supermarket then watch television.
Saturday, I do my laundry then watch television.
Sunday, I watch television, and dust it.
Monday, I always fall asleep while watching television.
Tuesday, I watch television and drink a little wine.
Be honest, does my life seem a little mundane? I thought you’d say that. This is what I’ll do.
Swap Monday’s routine and Saturday’s, Thursday’s and Tuesday’s, then Friday’s and Sunday’s. That just leaves today, Wednesday, unchanged. I’ll watch television all day!
How does that sound?

I’m impressed that you can keep track of the days. Since I retired, I often have little idea what day it is.

A delightful read Keith. What fun you have penned!

I’d love one, but I don’t have enough spare time!

Thank goodness there are only seven days in the week, if the week was any longer; what would you do. I don’t watch much TV, there seems to be a phase of so called reality shows or else cooking and collecting antiques or news about pointless wars. I live for the void.

I probably watch more than I should, I’m a crime drama junkie!

This made me laugh. Donn and I rarely watch television. Too much sitting.

I’m the opposite, I watch too much – though probably not as much as my narrator!

That person seems very organized… around the television. Fun story but I get sleepy just thinking about it.

I got sleepy writing it!

Amusing especially because of its accuracy for many, myself included. For me it isn’t TV as much as sitting in front ot the computer. Every night though, from about 10pm on, it’s the TV (movies/streaming.)

…for me, it’s sitting in front of the TV with a laptop on my lap. Can’t beat a bit of multi-tasking!

I’ve owned a couple of laptops over the years and never had much luck with them. Glad you have. You’re Ninja Electronica!

This was very funny, Keith, (especially Sunday) but I have this weird feeling that you’ve been watching me? I’m thinking of printing this out so I have something to help me remember what day of the week it is.
I hope you’re enjoying your time away? (And coming back with pictures?)

Lol! A fun poem. It’s a good thing there isn’t much change between the days so even if you forgot the day, you’d still be accomplishing what you set out to do. A nice take on the prompt.
