“Hire your paddleboard here folks!”
.
Why don’t you have a go Bob?
I’m not sure Sally.
Paddleboarding’s fun.
Yea, unless you fall off!
You won’t!
Mmmm, not sure.
It’s like skateboarding but on water.
I’ve never skateboarded.
Then it’s like skiing.
But I can’t ski.
Alright, imagine you’re on an escalator in the underground station.
I sometimes use those!
Well, there you go!
How do I use the paddle?
Oh, for goodness sake Bob! Pretend you are sweeping the floor with a broom!
Okay Sally, I’ll do it.
.
“Come in number nine”.
“That’s not number nine”.
“Oh no … come in number six!”

Thanks to Rochelle for hosting and to Krista Strutz for the picture.

Never tried paddleboarding!
But, thanks to your easy instructions, now I do 🙂

Dear Keith,
I’m afraid paddleboarding would be right up there with ice skating for me. This weeble wobbles and she does fall down. 😉 Cute story and frog.

I giggled throughout the conversation. A woman at work tried to get me out on one but she stopped when I told her I couldn’t swim. I would like to try kayaking though. Near shore all the way…

Delighted to have amused you, Lisa! At least when kayaking you’re sitting down.

Very wise Mimi! I watched a couple in the sea this morning – and I wasn’t tempted to join them!

Okay, let’s try this again. I got kicked off last time… I’m sure it was me clicking on something I shouldn’t have. Oh I love, love, love your pics… and as I’ve always said if the abandon building and their walls could talk. I love them your pics. I’ve been back & forth a couple of times today just to see them. You have a wonderful camera. It’s almost like I was there in person. Thank you so much for sharing. I’ve been gone for a while due to a computer change, and the other blog I was on I had to move. I was sharing it with 2 other women & they decided they just wanted to have themselves. I think I may have been taking up too much space one of my friends told me. So, needless to say I couldn’t afford to be on my own so I’m back on one of these freebie sights. Here’s my new link: https://newxmasdolly.blogspot.com/2021/09/wordless-wednesday.html so if you feel like stopping by feel free! Love to have ya! I hope all is well for you, and that you’re feeling very well, and may God bless you & yours. Take care my friend! I’ll be back… 🙂

I’m so pleased you had a successful landing this time Marie, I missed you!
As for the camera, no! It’s just my mobile phone with a bit of help from the Ribbet photo editor! See you again soon I hope. Stay well.

Sometimes, it’s more fun to watch people learning water sports. Watching their failures as they flop into the water can be amusing.

It’s not the wobbling that puts me off, it’s the wetness! Mind you, if it’s really like skiing, I ought to give it a go!

You could take the middle route and go skating on a frozen stream in the winter!

What a fun story. Splash. That’s the sound you’d hear from me if I tried that. I’m slightly tempted to try though.
