A short story for Sadje’s What Do You See? picture prompt.

He was good at whatever job he did, an asset to every firm he worked for. However, no matter how hard he tried he never gained a promotion. He was always the middleman.
He went from job to job, leaving something positive behind whenever he packed his bag and left.
There was only one thing for it. He had to start his own business and that’s precisely what he did.
He employs nobody, he’s a one-man band running the company from top to bottom, all by himself!

The middleman who has no middle! You’re brilliant, Keith. Great story.

In eliminating himself, he eliminated the middleman for a (w)hole man. Very neatly done. 😀

Hopefully I can comment today. Yesterday WordPress was telling me to sign in and then saying my password was wrong. I had to google Dr. Kronovator. It certainly was a weird event to come across!

Thanks for persevering Jackie, I’ve no idea what WordPress was up to!
As events go, yes, it was weird!

I love this! A middle man who left his middle at all of the jobs before leaving only his head to run the business and the legs to carry it out. Beautiful!
