for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Thalassic.
.
.
.
The beach is always busy in Summer.
In June, there’s a pirate festival, in July a boat race, August a fishing gala
In September a group of musicians perform a waterside concert. It always starts with Handel’s Water Music. Thalassic Band, they call themselves.
It’s a lovely stretch of water.
.
* I wonder if anyone will spot the pun. I really stretched it this time!
Great take.

Great take on the prompt and the pun at a stretch – is it your ‘Thalassic Band’ 🙂

Hoorah! I think they are more known as rubber bands, but I thought it was worth a try!!!

A popular stretch indeed. So much going on. But, you know Keith, in summer by the beach…one has to seas the day!

Another new word for me. I think you are quite the logomaniac and punster.

Greek for salt/sea water. Couldn’t spell it out in Ancient Greek alphabet though….
Thanks Keith, such a soothing image and sound.
