7Here are a few more pictures I took on my recent camping trip starting with the nature reserve close to my campsite near Lydd in Kent. Mine’s the little black tent alongside the little red car!

Your pics are always interesting when enlarged. I could almost pick those berries.

Thank you, Hilary. They are, Rye Harbour is very special with its bird-watching hides and wildlife. Being but a short drive away, I go there often.

How stunning are these images, Keith!
What lovely sights, sounds and smells to savour.

It reminds me of the Bill Withers song, “Lovely day” :))
    This one’s for you:

I love your red car and tent. I drive a green Ford and DH has a red Jeep. Both colours I adore.

A really fitting song, thanks so much for reminding me of it Natasha! I like colourful cars, grey wouldn’t do it for me!

My gear lives in the back of my car so I can take off whenever I feel like it! It was delightful.

Beautiful photos. That sky does look very threatening. I love to see how flat the scenery is. You can see for miles. We are the opposite, all hills and valleys.

Thanks so much. Centuries ago it was the seabed which explains the flatness. It is surrounded by hills albethey some distance away.

Really enjoy the natural landscape there, with the flat landscape and the complex cloud structures. I particularly like the paths and water photos, as well as that last one with the road.

Love those brush/flame flowers in about the fourth or fifth image.

And the way that the rocks were formed. Such tumult and agitation.

The images of Rye are so alive – what a wonderful journey home!

I also appreciated the Rule of Threes – and some of the sensoria and qualia involved.

Especially the taste of raspberries and blackberries and the nettle feel.

It wouldn’t be the UK if you didn’t have some rain, lol. That sky looks ominous! Thanks for sharing these beautiful landscapes. It has been decades ago that we were in a tent! Are you following the London Bridge sequence of the queen on line? Am amazed about her life and her openness to share her faith. Don’t quite know what to think about the new king… and am even more bewildered about what to think about Camilla…

Interestingly, that was the first rain for a couple of months and we are still officially suffering a drought and a ban on hosepipes, something I’ve never witnessed before in our normally soggy country!

I’m following it but not joining the queue which was 5 1/2 miles long a few moments ago. I would have preferred it if we’d skipped a generation, but that was never going to happen. Camilla can never replace Diana.

Raspberries! (I hope.) I thought rose hips, but rose bushes don’t make that many! I haven’t seen a raspberry except frozen in a store because the bears keep eating all of mine before I know it! You could make enough jam for the entire nation from that! What is that gorgeous spiky yellow/orange flower? That is brand new to me. The cloud was fantastic. Thank you for the tour. Again!

Blackberries actually, the red ones have yet to ripen! As for raspberries, they are my favourite fruit by far. No good asking me about unusual flowers, I ‘aint got a clue! Thanks so much for rambling with me Andree.
