for Sadje’s What Do You See? prompt.
.
Which way to turn? To my left, a grassy dell, gently undulating, bathed in sunshine. But no, I turn to my right and enter the bosky coppice. I clamber, trip, tumble. I snag my clothes on vicious brambles but I carry on.
I follow a babbling brook. It divides. I sit cross-legged between the two streams, my back to the parting of the ways. Which to follow? To my left the sparkling water gently flows, silverfish dance, bees bombinate.
But I choose to wade the angry deluge to my right, slipping on rocks, sliding on slimy weed. The torrent froths, splashes, but somehow I feel exhilarated, excited, expectant.
Life is filled with choices. I made mine. For without venture, there can be no gain.

I always like what you do to images at the bottom of your posts. Adding a little bit more to the original.
