A tiddly tale …

for Six Sentence Stories where the given word is Tree.

 .

white b

.

Just look up there, swaying branches filled with delicate pale green leaves reaching for wispy white clouds as they glide ‘cross a sky of springtide blue; blimey, listen to me getting all poetic!

You see that heart carved in that tree trunk, well I did that when I was twelve, and the initial K is for me, obviously, and the S is for … please don’t laugh … Celine.

Well, how was I to know Celine started with a C, you don’t pronounce it like custard or cock-a-doodle, do you?

I used to know a joke about an oak tree, a-corny one … sorry about that!

ZZZ (1)That woman beneath the willow tree*, well, she’s Willamena and I‘m wondering if she’s a witch, so I’d keep out of her way if I were you ‘cos I could well be wight, err, right.

Anyway, I’m going to sit over there and count ants, I saw three thousand four hundred and twenty-seven the other day and I only got stung fifteen times, you’re welcome to join me if you wish, it’s great fun!

.

*Okay, that’s not a willow tree but I’m pretending it is for want of awwiteration!

.

Thanks to Denise at GirlieOnTheEdge for hosting.

zI’m heading up North on Thursday to attend a concert by the André Rieu Orchestra and won’t be back until late Friday, so I may not have a chance to visit your blog until the weekend, please don’t think I’ve forgotten you!

Big smiles, Keith 😁 I’m sure Celine would be forgiving about the ‘S’… it’s the “S”entiment that counts, right? Enjoy the concert!

Absolutely true, I have no problem with people getting the E and I the wrong way around in my name – even I do sometimes!

The concert was well worth the 600mile round trip thanks!

Lol, true. I’m forever spelling my own surname wrong! 😁
Glad the concert was good and worth the trip. An adventure for sure!
