For Six Sentence Stories where the given word is Mundane.

My week started on Mundane Monday, nothing unusual there, they normally do, and it was quite, well, mundane!
Tuneful Tuesday should have been great because I had a ticket to see a Tina Turner Tribute concert, but she was awful so it was more like a Tuneless Tuesday!
Windy Wednesday lived up to its name and I felt woeful for my mate Wally the Wig because he went for a wander along the beach and watched as his hairpiece took off and joined a flock of flying seagulls!
Thirsty Thursday’s always fun because that’s the day I join my mates for a pint or three at the Thatch and Thistle Inn, but last week was really special because I had – wait for it – three and a third pints!
Furious Friday was a fun-filled day, I had a lie-in, polished my shoes, did some laundry, watered my plant, travelled on a bus, bought six eggs and had a feast of fish and chips for supper!
Sedulous Saturday (sedulous, I like that word!) was a day spent preparing myself for something sensational that I did on Sublime Sunday, but I can’t tell you how that went because I’ve used up my six sentences, sorry!
.
Thanks to Denise at GirlieOnTheEdge for hosting.

I like how you alliterated the events that happened on every day of the week. The mundane events became less so.

Great use of language, Keith and a cunning way of not telling us what you got up to on Sublime Sunday. We’ll just have to imagine…

Great fun, Keith. Reminded of that old Dad joke.
Son: Dad, I’m thirsty.
Dad: Pleased to meet you, I’m Friday. Why don’t we go out on Saturday and get a sundae.
