for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt where the given word is Smuggle and the limit, just 66 words.

Although Jack wasn’t the brightest schoolkid, he excelled in exams.
Some cheated by smuggling in notes, but not Jack, he had a useful talent.
The clever kids wrote with one hand cupped around their answers, but by watching their pens bobbing about, Jack could make out what they were writing!
We recently came equal-first in a pub quiz without knowing many answers. Jack has his uses!

A great talent has Master Jack! Is he just as good with fingers over keyboards? 🙂

Quite possibly. He could probably conduct an orchestra too!

That took me right back. We were taught to write like that with our left arm round the top of the page. Handy for both if you had a left-handed neighbour in class! Fun story, Keith.

I remember some kids in our class had really ingenious ways of cheating in class. Some girls would scribble answers on their thighs and would look indignant when the teacher asked them to lift their skirt up …..

I should think they would! That’s really funny Unishta.

Yep. That could come handy (sorry, had to!) in some other forums through life, too …

What an unusual talent! A bit like lipreading. It wouldn’t help him in a game of Poker though! Wishing you a good Sunday, Keith 🙂

No, not poker but I bet there are a few profitable uses to be found!

Well done, Keith. It is nice to have a skill to fall back on when one is not up to par. 🙂
