You’re the cream in my coffee, the sugar in my tea, the icing on my bun,
Awww, you’re so romantic.
You’re the one that I want, the one that I need, the one that I love.
My heart’s all a-flutter!
You’re a light in the dark, the light of my life, you’d be my cigarette lighter if I smoked!
Stop it, you’re making me blush. Do carry on!
You’re the pepper in my pot, the salt in my cellar … the ketchup on my sausage!
I beg your pardon!
Take my hand, we’re going out for a romantic meal.
McDonald’s?
But of course!.

A great big thank you to Rochelle for hosting and offering us one of her lovely paintings as this week’s prompt.

Dear Keith,
Talk about a cheap date. I tell my husband MacDonald’s doesn’t exist in my world. 😉 Cute and entertaining as always. 😀

What a romantic soul this is. Making McDonalds romantic is high art. What fun, and I also adore the pepper frogs.

Good thing he had MacDonalds in mind. The” soy sauce on my rice” or “the Alfredo on my pasta” would have been just too mushy. 😉

You’re right, that would sound so wrong coming from him! Cheers, Christine.

Great story, Keith and I love all the froggies. You’re multi-talented.
My 15 year daughter is now working at McDonalds. I went by to pick her up after closing the other night and the place looked abandoned. No cars in the carpark. She wasn’t answering her phone. It was like she’d vanished. I waited about 20 minutes. Peered through the door and saw nothing. Spooked, I went home to heck she wasn’t there. Nothing. So, I called up and got quite a surprise when someone answered and sure enough she was still there. Phew! Back I went.
If you want to be the ultimate Donald’s cheapskate…staff members on closing get to take home leftover food. That takes cheap to a new level!
Best wishes,
Rowena

Rowena, thanks so much for your generous words, I do enjoy a bit of Froggie fun!
I can’t imagine what that felt like, what a relief it must have been when you located her. Even I’d eat leftover burgers if they were going free!
