It’s the remains of a private chapel that’s still attached to the main house. Nymans is in rural West Sussex in the South East of England. Thanks for dropping by Lydia.

It looks beautiful and I love those gardens. We stayed near Hayward’s Heath when we visited Cats Protection. I hadn’t heard of Nymans then, but if we are ever back that way it is definitely on the visit list.

You were quite close! Sheffield Park is another nearby garden known for its autumn colours – I’ll be there with my camera in a couple of weeks time!

Oh my goodness, I wish I was there. I haven’t seen a real carosel in a very long time and of course all my children (4) are grown and I have 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren! So now it’s like I’m starting all over again with the babies. Yes, I really wish I could take a break and run to this beautiful place. Thanks for sharing my friend! I wish you well and be safe! HUG

Wow, that’s quite a family! You certainly deserve an escape now and again! I am pleased to have at least been able to show it to you if only in pictures.

Wow, such beautiful gardens. It must have been a pleasure to survey all these corners of it. Loving gardens must be my European side that I haven’t lost yet:) Thank you for your kind comments last week:! Keith

Part of the building is still occupied, but I agree, it’s worth restoring to it’s former glory.

Lovely gardens. I really like the ruins being an integral part.

I’d love to walk in those gardens. I’ve never really visited a place like that (well, except the gardens at Versailles…)

I’m glad you liked them. It’s certainly a traquil place. It’s been years since I visited Versailles.
