It’s picture time

A lot of wall paintings have appeared in my town lately.  Each of these is a short walk from my door!.

…and finally, this is NOT a ‘working’ window, it’s a boarded up one. It’s completely flat yet appears three dimensional. Even the pretend kids pictures are part of the painting! Why? Don’t ask me!

These are fabulous, so creative, and especially the last one, which had me convinced that it was a real window!

I’m surprised no one’s accidentally walked into it! Thanks, Christina.

That’s beautiful, Keith. I thought that the last one was a photograph of a window too

I kind of love the boarded up window. Someone was being cheeky with that one.

Some beautiful work and then we come to the kids’ work. That last shot made me smile. Like the cherry on top of a sundae.

Thank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous day, Keith. 🙂

Street art became popular here in one district of Honolulu about ten years ago also, and the passion hasn’t subsided yet. All your photos of wall paintings are interesting in color and topic. The children’s drawings add a nice controversial touch.

That’s interesting Gail. We couldn’t have imagined them a few years ago. As for the ‘children’s’ drawings, they do look uncannily real!

Some of those are just stunning, like the first one. We love finding good street art!

I do too. Things have certainly moved on from the second-rate graffiti we used to tolerate. Thanks for dropping by.

You are fortunate to have these great murals in your neighborhood. Except for the last ones I can’t even call these grafitti. It does not like the UK, lol! Emille (Jesh)

I agree but I thought I’d add them if only to provide some contrast! I assure you, it is the UK!!!
